This is an air bed designed specifically for kids - something many parents will find useful. There are a number of reasons you might want one, sleepovers being a primary benefit (it's cheap to give the neighbor's kids something that comes close to a real bed with this). It's also great for traveling with your kids - they can have a bed too, and if you're staying in a hotel, you may not have enough beds if you've got more than one kid. One final use that people have found for this is as a stopgap solution for bedwetting - if you've got a young child with these problems, you can let them sleep on this without ruining a real mattress. It's great for younger kids because it's got a 4 inch "safety cushion" surrounding the top to keep them from falling off or rolling off in their sleep. It's 50 inches by 25 inches (a little over 4 feet tall, about 2 feet wide) so keep that in mind - older children may not fit on it. It comes with an AC pump and can inflate in about a minute, deflating in 15 seconds or so. |
